Building Food Land Market in Boise
Food Land Market opened to bring global flavors into everyday life in Boise in 2019. The market and restaurant was the Mutlak family’s way of bringing a piece of their childhood to the Treasure Valley.
Launching Food Land was a lot of hard and precious work. As a family, the Mutlaks found the right space for their restaurant and grocery store. They cleaned it up, installed shelves and signs, perfected recipes, and launched to the public.
Hana wanted to create a place where people could enjoy Middle Eastern food without feeling overwhelmed or out of place. That intention shows up in the layout, the labeling, and the way guests are welcomed.
